Meta has released Muse, its proactive agentic AI app, for iPad. The update adds business-focused connectors, including Asana, Canva, Figma, QuickBooks and Meta ad accounts. Muse has been the #1 free iPhone app on the US App Store for several weeks, according to 9to5Mac.

Meta introduced Muse Gadgets on Friday, an open-source project with firmware and a Linux SDK for building hardware that connects to its Muse personal AI agent. Meta also built a first-party device, Muse Home Link, and says it is giving away 5,000 units to Muse subscribers.

OpenAI debuted an AI agent platform called Dots at DevDay 2026, while Meta is preparing a pendant-like device called Muse Charm tied to its Muse agent. Both companies appear to be using cutesy software agents to prime consumers for dedicated AI hardware.
