Cline v4.1.25 introduces Cline Cloud sessions, which run tasks in a hosted sandbox on a chosen GitHub repo and branch, and is rolling out gradually. The release also changes default models for more than 25 providers and fixes a five-minute timeout affecting local models in LM Studio and Ollama.
Cline v4.1.24 makes Claude Sonnet 5.5 the default model for the Cline and OpenRouter providers when no model is selected. The release also adds Claude Haiku 5.5 and three new providers, and fixes reasoning-off 400 errors on several models plus an auto-compaction token-count bug.
Cline v4.1.23 fixes a 4.1.22 regression that caused 400 errors when using Claude through custom Anthropic base URLs such as Azure AI Foundry. It also changes default models for 19 providers and adds GPT-6.1 Sol to the recommended list.
Cline Desktop v0.0.19 fixes a memory leak where session status updates carried full conversation transcripts to every connected client, ballooning process memory to tens of gigabytes on long tasks. The release also adds seven new model providers and changes default models for several existing ones.
