Google is testing Gmail Live on Android and iOS, a voice-powered email search feature that functions as an instance of Gemini Live optimized for Gmail. The feature will roll out to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers this summer.

Google announced Gmail Live, a voice-activated email search feature launching this summer for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the US. The company also expanded its AI Inbox feature from AI Ultra to AI Plus and AI Pro tiers, adding task completion tracking and contextual draft responses.

Google is expanding Search Live, its voice and camera-based AI search assistant, to more than 200 countries and territories with support for dozens of languages. The expansion is powered by Gemini 3.1 Flash Live, a new audio-focused model that Google claims offers faster response times and more natural conversations.
