Starting November 13, 2026, Google AI Plus subscribers ($4.99/month) can no longer select Pro models in the Gemini app or AI Mode in Search. The tier keeps only Gemini Flash and Flash-Lite, while Gemini 4 Argon goes to AI Pro ($19.99/month) and AI Ultra.

Meta released Muse Wonder, a model it claims is its most advanced for powering digital assistants. Access requires a $20 or $100 monthly Muse app subscription, and a larger Muse Wonder Full variant is limited to Muse Code subscribers. API pricing has not been disclosed.

OpenAI announced a $100 per month ChatGPT Pro subscription tier offering five times more Codex usage than its existing $20 Plus plan. The move directly challenges Anthropic's Claude Code, which generated over $2.5 billion in run-rate revenue in February with 100%+ growth since the start of 2026. Codex now has three million weekly active users.
