Google announced Lyria 3 Pro, an upgraded music generation model capable of creating tracks up to three minutes long—a tenfold increase from Lyria 3's 30-second maximum. The model adds structural music understanding (intros, verses, choruses, bridges) and rolls out to Gemini app paid subscribers, Google Vids, ProducerAI, and enterprise tools including Vertex AI, the Gemini API, and AI Studio.

ElevenLabs has launched a music marketplace where users can publish and sell tracks created with its ElevenCreative AI music model, with the company claiming to have already generated nearly 14 million songs on the platform. The company has paid out over $11 million through its Voice Marketplace using the same model. However, AI-generated music lacks legal copyright protection, leaving all legal risk on users.

ProducerAI, an AI music-making platform that allows users to generate sounds, remix songs, and create instruments via AI agents, is joining Google. The platform will operate under Google Labs and be powered by a preview version of Google's Lyria 3 music generation model.
