Google is updating AI Mode and AI Overviews to directly surface quotes from Reddit, forums, and social media as 'Expert Advice' alongside search results. The update includes creator attribution and aims to capture users who manually add 'Reddit' to search queries for human perspectives.

Google launched a Windows desktop application that provides keyboard shortcut access to Gemini AI search. The app uses Alt+Space to trigger a search bar that can query the web, local files, installed apps, and Google Drive, with built-in Google Lens screen sharing capabilities.
