Suno has launched Speech in public beta on web and mobile. It generates spoken voice from a script or text prompt, with optional AI-generated background music, for clips up to roughly eight minutes. Suno claims it is the first audio model to generate voice and music together as one track.

Suno unveiled its v6 model family, trained on licensed data from Warner Music Group, BMG, and Believe, as the AI music startup continues fighting copyright lawsuits from Sony, Universal Music Group, and individual artists. The company plans to retire its older, non-licensed models entirely.

Suno's Studio 2.0 update introduces a beta chat feature that lets Premier subscribers create instruments, vocals, and custom plugins through text prompts. The release also adds MIDI import/editing, stem separation, and unrestricted multitrack export at 32-bit/48kHz.

Google DeepMind has released Lyria 3.5, an updated music generation model now live in Google Flow Music. The company claims improvements in melodic complexity, lyric quality, vocal expressiveness, and creative controls like tempo and duration.
