Starting October 9, Gemini app users without a Google AI subscription will be limited to Flash-Lite, losing access to Flash and Pro. AI Plus ($4.99/month) subscribers lose Pro, while AI Pro ($19.99/month) gains Deep Think, according to an updated Google support document.

Google has begun broadly rolling out Pics, its AI image generation and editing app built on Nano Banana, to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers plus Business and Enterprise Workspace plans. The app supports object segmentation, text translation in 29 languages, and 4K upscaling, with direct integration into Docs and Slides.

Google renamed NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook and announced that the Gemini 3.5 model with Antigravity code execution capability will roll out to AI Pro subscribers in the coming weeks. The research tool now has over 30 million users and 600,000+ organizations.
