Replit launches self-serve Enterprise with instant SSO setup, unlimited seats, credit-based pricing

Replit today launched self-serve Enterprise, allowing organizations to purchase and configure an Enterprise account in minutes without sales calls or contract negotiations. The new offering includes instant SSO setup, unlimited seats, and credit-based pricing.

Credit-based pricing with unlimited seats

Organizations select an annual credit commitment during purchase, with every dollar converting to credits usable across Replit Agent, Deployments, and Storage. All seats are unlimited by default—organizations pay for infrastructure usage rather than per-seat licenses. Credits are pooled across the entire organization.

Payment is accepted via credit card or ACH bank transfer, with annual billing paid upfront. For ACH payments, customers receive an initial credit allocation immediately while the bank transfer clears over 3-4 business days.

Enterprise controls configured in minutes

The self-serve flow includes immediate configuration of enterprise-grade security:

  • SSO (SAML): Direct integration with Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, or OneLogin available immediately after checkout
  • SCIM directory sync: Automatic user provisioning and deprovisioning through identity providers
  • RBAC: Granular role-based access controls across organizations
  • Audit logs: Full visibility into workspace activity
  • SOC 2 compliance: Included by default

According to Replit, the complete setup—from signup to a fully provisioned SSO-enabled Enterprise account—takes less time than a typical sales call.

Target customers and limitations

Replit designed self-serve Enterprise for two segments: teams that have reached the 15-seat limit on Pro plans, and organizations with budget and compliance requirements that want to move quickly without sales cycles.

Organizations with over $200,000 in planned spend, custom contract terms, or specific procurement requirements must still contact Replit's sales team.

Support structure

Every self-serve Enterprise customer is assigned a dedicated Account Manager from day one, according to Replit. The Account Manager serves as a single point of contact for SSO configuration, product support, and scaling annual commitments.

Replit states that self-serve purchases receive identical support to sales-led deals, with both ending up as "fully supported Enterprise customers with a dedicated relationship."

What this means

Replit's move mirrors a broader trend of infrastructure and developer tools companies eliminating sales friction for mid-market customers. By offering instant provisioning with enterprise-grade controls, Replit is betting that faster time-to-value will accelerate adoption among teams already familiar with the product but blocked by procurement processes. The credit-based model removes the complexity of seat-based pricing common in developer tools, though it remains to be seen how organizations will budget for variable infrastructure spend versus predictable per-seat costs. The $200K threshold for sales involvement suggests Replit expects meaningful self-serve deal sizes while preserving high-touch support for larger accounts.
