Google is bundling Health Premium into its AI Pro subscription tier at $19.99 per month. The service, which includes a Gemini-powered health coach and adaptive fitness plans, was previously available as a standalone product at $9.99 monthly or $99.99 annually.
Pricing structure
Google Health Premium is now included in:
- Google AI Pro: $19.99/month
- Google AI Ultra: pricing not disclosed
- Standalone option remains: $9.99/month or $99.99/year
Existing Health Premium subscribers will receive cancellation notices as their plans migrate to the new structure. Fitbit Air owners currently on three-month trials will receive separate notification from Google Play.
Feature set
The service centers on a Gemini-powered Health Coach that allows users to log meals through conversational input or photographs. Other capabilities include:
- Weekly adaptive fitness plans customized to individual goals
- Sleep and health metric insights
- Workout library access
- Mindfulness sessions
The weekly progress report has been redesigned with Google Health branding. Statistics tracked include daily step goals, floors, miles, calories, Active Zone Minutes, sleep duration, average active hours, resting heart rate, and weight.
Upcoming features
Google announced three data sharing capabilities coming soon:
- Apple Health integration for data sharing
- Smart Health Links for sharing medical records with providers or family members
- Command line interfaces and AI tools for personal data exploration
The Health mobile app is also rolling out to all users today, according to the announcement.
What this means
Google is consolidating its AI and health services into unified subscription tiers, following the broader industry trend of bundling multiple AI features under single plans. The $19.99 AI Pro tier now positions health tracking as a value-add alongside Gemini access, rather than a standalone vertical. For users already subscribed to both services separately, this represents savings of $10 per month. The upcoming Apple Health integration and Smart Health Links suggest Google is prioritizing interoperability over creating a closed health data ecosystem.
