What the integration does
The Contacts integration, available from Personal Intelligence > Connected Apps, allows Gemini to access and modify contact data from Google Contacts and signed-in devices. According to Google, the integration can:
- Add new contacts or delete/modify existing ones
- Find contacts by name, phone number, or email
- Provide personalized responses based on contact information
- Surface important dates like birthdays
- Share contacts with other apps when requested
- Suggest information to save and contacts to reach out to

Availability
As of June 5, 2026, the Contacts integration is still rolling out. 9to5Google reports seeing it available only on one AI Ultra account that has Gemini Spark access, suggesting a gradual rollout.

- Google Workspace: Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive, Keep, Tasks, and Chat (enterprise only)
