Black Forest Labs' FLUX.1 Kontext [Pro] is now available inside Adobe Photoshop's Generative Fill feature, starting September 25. The company claims the model is 3x faster than competing generative fill models and will be free to use during the beta period.

Black Forest Labs released FLUX.1 Krea [dev], an open-weights text-to-image model developed with Krea AI. The model was specifically trained to generate realistic images that avoid the oversaturated textures common in AI-generated imagery, achieving performance on par with FLUX1.1 [pro] in human preference tests.

NVIDIA and Hugging Face have integrated NeMo Automodel with the Diffusers library, enabling distributed fine-tuning of video and image diffusion models without checkpoint conversion. The integration supports models including FLUX.1-dev (12B), Wan 2.1 (1.3B/14B), and HunyuanVideo (13B) with full fine-tuning and LoRA options.

Microsoft released Lens, a 3.8-parameter foundational text-to-image model trained on Lens-800M, an 800 million image-text corpus with GPT-4.1 captions. The model uses a 48-block MMDiT denoiser with FLUX.2 latents and supports generation up to 1440×1440 resolution across aspect ratios from 1:2 to 2:1.
