The US government imposed export controls on Anthropic's newly released Claude Fable 5 and underlying Mythos models on Friday, restricting access even for foreign nationals working at Anthropic in the United States. Anthropic took both models completely offline rather than risk non-compliance, leaving Fable unavailable to all users as of this writing.

Anthropic is extending access to its Mythos AI model to the European Union following approval from the U.S. government. The model, which excels at identifying security flaws in software, was initially released to select companies in April under Anthropic's Project Glasswing cybersecurity initiative.

Microsoft has launched Copilot Health, a separate space within Copilot designed to aggregate electronic health records and wearable data for personalized health insights. The service explicitly disclaims providing medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment—positioning itself as a wellness tool rather than clinical decision support.
