Mistral AI released OCR 4, a compact document extraction model that returns bounding boxes, block classification, and inline confidence scores alongside text. The model supports 170 languages, scores 85.20 on OlmOCRBench, and is priced at $4 per 1,000 pages via API ($2 with batch discount) or $5 per 1,000 pages through Document AI.

Mistral AI released Workflows in public preview, an orchestration layer built on Temporal's execution engine for running AI processes in production. The platform provides durable execution with state tracking, full observability through Studio, and single-line human-in-the-loop approval pauses. Organizations including ASML, ABANCA, and CMA-CGM are already using it to automate critical business processes.

Mistral has released 20+ Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors for Le Chat, enabling integration with enterprise tools including Databricks, Snowflake, GitHub, Atlassian, Asana, Stripe, and Zapier. The company also introduced Memories, a cross-conversation context system that retains user preferences and facts. Both features are available on Le Chat's free plan.

Mistral AI has released two specialized coding models: Devstral Medium, achieving 61.6% on SWE-Bench Verified, and Devstral Small 1.1, scoring 53.6% and released under Apache 2.0 license. The company claims Devstral Medium surpasses Gemini 2.5 Pro and GPT-4.1 at a quarter of the price.

Mistral has launched AI Studio, a development platform for building AI applications, alongside two new models: Mistral 3, its latest flagship, and Mistral Small 4, a cost-efficient alternative. The releases include new pricing tiers and API access through the unified platform.
