Tencent Hunyuan released Hyra 2.0 on November 2, a multi-agent research system designed to build reusable research tools rather than solve single problems. Results and code are published in an Apache 2.0 GitHub repository, and all figures are Tencent's own.

Tencent Hunyuan has open-sourced Hy-SimulMT, a 30B-A3B mixture-of-experts model that translates Chinese and English speech in real time while cloning the speaker's voice. Tencent reports about 3 seconds of StreamLAAL lag on the long-form RealSI benchmark, the lowest among the systems it compared. The weights are listed under Apache 2.0.

Tencent Hunyuan released Hy-Memory-30B-A3B, a 30B-parameter mixture-of-experts model with about 3B active parameters, built to run the write path in external memory frameworks. Tencent reports a 55.49 cross-harness average, ahead of Claude Opus 5 (54.62) and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (53.64) on its own fixed 20% benchmark subsamples.

Tencent is testing an AI assistant called Xiaowei in Weixin, the Chinese version of WeChat, which has over 1.4 billion monthly active users combined with WeChat. Users can interact with Xiaowei through text or voice, communicate with friends, and launch mini-programs within the app.
