Google DeepMind released Gemini 3.5 Live Translate, an audio model that provides near real-time speech-to-speech translation across 70+ languages. The model automatically detects languages, preserves speaker intonation and pacing, and maintains a few seconds of latency while generating continuous speech output.

Google has expanded its Gemini AI notetaker beyond Google Meet to support in-person meetings, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. The feature, previously limited to alpha Android users for in-person meetings, generates summaries and action items in Google Docs from any meeting type.

Google is expanding its Gemini-powered 'Take Notes for me' feature beyond virtual meetings to in-person sessions via the Meet mobile app. The company also announced Drive 'Projects' for centralized file organization and Canvas for interactive Sheets visualizations at Cloud Next 2026.
