iFLYTEK launches Agent OS, APA and XFYUN CLI, putting 700-plus AI capabilities behind one command

TL;DR

At its 2026 Global 1024 Developer Festival in Beijing on October 22, iFLYTEK's open platform introduced Agent OS, APA, the XFYUN CLI and Xingchen TaaS (Token as a Solution). The XFYUN CLI lets one command call more than 700 atomic AI capabilities and more than 200 agent adaptation capabilities. All performance figures are company-reported.

iFLYTEK's open platform has launched a set of tools for building and running AI agents, led by a command-line workbench, the XFYUN CLI, that calls more than 700 atomic AI capabilities with a single command. The company announced the tools on October 22 at its 2026 Global 1024 Developer Festival in Beijing, as reported by Pandaily. They were introduced alongside the Spark X2.6 model.

The launch includes five components: Agent OS, APA, the XFYUN CLI, AIUI Code and Xingchen TaaS, short for Token as a Solution.

Agent OS: organization and scheduling

Agent OS is a collaboration platform for enterprise agents. It groups employees, agents and business systems into what iFLYTEK calls scene packages, and uses organization-level context engineering to keep refining skills and workflows. According to iFLYTEK, cross-system collaboration efficiency improved by 90 percent in deployments, and more than 75 percent of processes can run on their own.

APA: execution

APA automates business processes. Staff can record a screen session or describe a task in plain language. APA then packages routine work such as filling forms, checking inventory or starting approvals into reusable skills that agents call when needed. It connects to ERP and CRM systems. iFLYTEK says its procurement review system reached 97 percent accuracy at China Energy Investment Corporation.

XFYUN CLI and developer tools

The XFYUN CLI lets a single command call more than 700 atomic AI capabilities and more than 200 agent adaptation capabilities. It simplifies access, authentication and environment setup. Other developer tools:

  • AIUI Code: developers describe what they need, and an agent calls plugins to help build it.
  • Digital-employee tool: updates robot configurations by voice.
  • Agent resources: the platform is building reusable resources around skills, MCP, connectors, the CLI and industry knowledge.

Xingchen TaaS

Xingchen TaaS sits on top of iFLYTEK's Xingchen MaaS platform, which supports Spark and several open-source models. The architecture has two layers:

  • Middle layer: model scheduling, an agent engine, knowledge engineering, tool orchestration and runtime governance.
  • Application layer: simultaneous interpretation, digital employees, office productivity, knowledge Q&A and marketing, with packages for enterprise services, finance, healthcare, education and energy.

iFLYTEK's pitch is that companies should not stop at buying tokens and calling models, but should get working applications.

Interaction hardware

iFLYTEK also showed new interaction tools for homes, robots and public spaces. Its robot platform supports up to five people talking at once and reports 90.1 percent speech recognition accuracy in heavy noise. The open platform now has 11.87 million developers, according to the company.

All performance figures are company-reported. Pricing not yet disclosed. No context window, parameter count or benchmark scores were given for Spark X2.6.

What this means

iFLYTEK is dividing its agent stack into distinct jobs: Agent OS for organizing people, agents and systems, APA for executing business tasks, and the XFYUN CLI for developer access to its capability catalog. Xingchen TaaS then packages these into industry-specific applications. The stated aim of Xingchen TaaS is to move customers from buying tokens to buying finished solutions, which shifts the unit of sale from model calls to deployed workflows.

For developers, the practical change is in access. One CLI covering authentication, environment setup and more than 700 atomic capabilities reduces integration steps. The figures cited for efficiency, process automation and procurement accuracy come from iFLYTEK and its deployments, so teams evaluating the tools should test them against their own workflows.
